Additionally, Congresswoman Kamlager-Dove leads the DWC's line of effort on international women's issues.
Congresswoman Kamlager-Dove co-chairs the Congressional Caucus on Foster Youth, which provides a forum for Members of Congress to discuss and develop policy recommendations to strengthen the child welfare system and improve the overall well-being of youth and families. Over 30,000 foster youth reside in Los Angeles County, and Congresswoman Kamlager-Dove is committed to ensuring that our nation's vulnerable, yet resilient, youth are provided with the opportunities and support necessary to succeed.
