‘The federal funding freeze is going to kill people,’ congresswoman says

WIC, the Los Angeles Unified School District, Project Angel Food, Food Access L.A., and the All People’s Community Center joined Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove for a news conference Friday to highlight the detrimental effects of losing their federal funding.

“The federal funding freeze is going to kill people,” Kamlager-Dove said. “There are so many folks living hand to mouth who are incredibly dependent on all of these programs that help everyone regardless of your political affiliation, regardless of your gender, your race, your religion, your ethnicity.
