"Take out funding for ICE and border patrol:" Rep. Kamlager-Dove on her grilling of Kristi Noem

Earlier this month, after a tumultuous tenure as DHS Secretary, Kristi Noem was reassigned, appointed by President Trump as Special Envoy for "The Shield of the Americas." A day before that announcement, Noem sparred with Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dover (D-CA) at a fiery House hearing, as Kamlager-Dove pressed Noem on her relationship with Corey Lewandowski. Kamlager-Dove joins Micah Ohlman and Cher Calvin to discuss that sparring match and whether it is enough to reopen DHS, which is currently in the midst of a shutdown, Democrats calling for a change in ICE policy. Kamlager-Dove also discusses the unfolding situation in Iran, which President Trump says is near its end, and her request for more funding for LA Metro ahead of the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Kamlager-Dove also reveals who she is supporting in the race for L.A. Mayor and California Governor, and who she thinks will win Best Picture at the Academy Awards.
