Kamlager-Dove Statement Condemning the Violence in Pico-Robertson

LOS ANGELES, CA — Today, Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove (CA-37) released the following statement condemning yesterday's violence in Pico-Robertson:

"Let’s be clear: blocking the entrance to a synagogue is antisemitism. Targeting a predominantly Jewish neighborhood is antisemitism. Calling for violence against the Jewish people is antisemitism.

"And none of it will be tolerated in Los Angeles.

"Americans have the right to protest—however, protests must remain peaceful and can never infringe upon the rights and safety of others. We must unequivocally reject violence, antisemitism, and hate in all forms. Let’s work together to build a more loving, caring, and respectful society where all can feel safe and worship in peace."
