WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove (CA-37) released the following statement:

“This past weekend I joined hundreds of Jewish and Israeli Americans in my District who are still grieving over the horrors of the Hamas terrorist attacks. To all my Jewish friends and constituents who are feeling alone, isolated, and scared: I will continue to stand with you, to hear you, and to show up for you. My first priority when the House has a Speaker will be to push for the passage of the bipartisan resolution affirming our commitment to Israel’s right to exist and defend itself. There is no justification for the barbarity of Hamas' attacks. President Biden has made it clear that eliminating Hamas is necessary. I fully support the President and will work with my colleagues to ensure Congress can pass essential military funding for Israel. In these difficult times, we must be clear: our alliance with Israel is strong, and we will always stand up for Israel’s democracy and humanity.”
