Kamlager-Dove Statement on Supreme Court's Decision to Extend Stay on Abortion Medication

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congresswoman Kamlager-Dove released the following statement following the Supreme Court’s ruling to extend the stay on Mifepristone until this Friday:

“The Court’s decision to extend the stay on the abortion medication ban and consider the dangerous and wide-ranging implications of this case is a shining light in a sea of despair for many women across the country. However, the threat posed to medication abortion is still very real, and complacency is not an option.

"We must be steadfast in our efforts to safeguard abortion access for women everywhere and stand against extremist threats on our bodily autonomy. I hope that the Supreme Court sides with the overwhelming majority of Americans who demand that abortion access remain legal. Abortion care is health care.”
