Kamlager-Dove announced in a press release this afternoon that she intends to introduce the [21st Century Children and Families Act] again.
Some lawmakers voted no, such as California Democrat Sydney Kamlager-Dove, who says this legislation won’t stop China from getting Americans’ data.
“The bill seriously undermines civil liberties by essentially banning a platform that 150 million Americans use to engage in free speech and expression,” said Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove (D-Calif.)
