During a press briefing on Wednesday, Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove (D-CA) spoke about President Trump's request for $200 billion in additional funding for the Iran War.

Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove attended the groundbreaking and announced new federal funding for the project. “Housing insecurity in Los Angeles is a crisis, and we must allocate resources in a way that reflects that urgent need,” said Congresswoman Kamlager-Dove.

In January, Democrats, including Massachusetts Sen. Ed Markey, Arizona Rep. Yassamin Ansari, and California Reps. Eric Swalwell and Sydney Kamlager-Dove, said the amendment should be used after President Trump sent a threatening message to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støreas part of the White House campaign to take over Greenland.

U.S. Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove said workers of all sorts from her Los Angeles County district have an interest in Hollywood thriving.

“After my acupuncturist took the needles out of my back, she said, ‘Can you do anything to help bring back entertainment jobs?’” Kamlager-Dove said.
