The letter, which was orchestrated by Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove and signed by another 68 Members of Congress, was addressed to FIFA President Gianni Infantino and said American fans and international visitors for the June 11-July 19 World Cup should have access to affordable tickets.

Among the evening’s most prominent honorees was Sydney Kamlager-Dove, who received the Commission President’s Award recognizing her public service and advocacy.
Kamlager-Dove, who previously served as a trustee and president of the Los Angeles Community College District before becoming a state assemblymember, state senator and member of Congress, delivered remarks emphasizing unity and the power of women’s voices.
In her own post, Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove, D-Calif., meanwhile, reposted a clip of comments from White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, writing: “Refusing to rule out a draft is crazy.”
“No boots on the ground, no draft for Trump’s war of choice,” she added.

During the same congressional oversight hearing, Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove (D-Calif.) referenced “reports of a romantic relationship between” Noem and Lewandowski and asked Noem if she had “sexual relations” with Lewandowski during her time at DHS.
