While being questioned by Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove (D-CA), former Special Counsel Jack Smith said his team had "proof beyond a reasonable doubt" to prove their election charges against President Trump. 

“​​We've heard conspiracy after conspiracy that the 2020 election was rigged,” Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove, D-Calif., said. “Capitol Police officers were harmed and died because of those conspiracies.”

Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove, D-Calif., questioned former special counsel Jack Smith on Thursday in a hearing focused on Smith’s investigations into President Donald Trump’s mishandling of classified documents and role in the Jan. 6 attack.

Stephanie Grisham, former White House press secretary, requests congressional intervention as Donald Trump is allegedly mentally declining. The proposal was supported by her party co-religionist Sydney Kamlager-Dove, representative for California; and also by Ed Markey, senator from Massachusetts.

Democratic committee members, including House Foreign Affairs ranking member Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.) and Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove (D-Calif.) supported the bill following a new amendment prohibiting the sale of these chips to China and other foreign adversaries for two years.

A number of Democrats, including Massachusetts Sen. Ed Markey, Arizona Rep. Yassamin Ansari, and California Reps. Eric Swalwell and Sydney Kamlager-Dove have called for the Amendment to be invoked to remove Trump from office over the text he sent to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store on Sunday.

Democratic Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove of California said of the President: “He’s risking the safety of every American. Invoke the 25th.”
