Earlier this month, after a tumultuous tenure as DHS Secretary, Kristi Noem was reassigned, appointed by President Trump as Special Envoy for "The Shield of the Americas." Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove (D-Calif.) on Friday pointed to the firing of Kristi Noem as proof that the shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was “working,” insisting it would not persuade Democrats to drop their demands for Republicans to rein in immigration enforcement operations.

Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove’s grilling of now-former DHS Secretary Kristi Noem was a spectacular example of holding her feet to the fire to answer for her poor judgment. Rep. Kamalager-Dove joins Katie Phang to discuss the changes in leadership of DHS and why the Trump Regime must explain to the people why the US is at war against Iran.
