A bill proposed by Democrat Sydney Kamlager-Dove could contribute to the United States' relationship with Latin America and the Caribbean by ensuring the hosting of the Summit of the Americas.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Yesterday, Representatives Sydney Kamlager-Dove (CA-37) and Jan Schakowsky (IL-09) introduced the “Compassionate Assault Response and Empathy (CARE) Act.” This legislation would expand trauma-informed training for law enforcement personnel related to sexual assault cases.
